These are just a few examples of the latest generous donation to the National Library from Ireland Literature Exchange, the national organisation for the international promotion of Irish literature in English and Irish. Since 1994 ILE has funded the translation of over 1,500 works of Irish literature into 50 languages from around the world. See Ireland Literature Exchange for more information, and here's some of ILE's translations that have found their way onto our shelves.
